The Garage.
We needed to make a logo that we can wear on a t-shirt or put on a sticker. Swag is everything, right? So Nolan and I designed a logo for the Art Garage. We both liked what Ragnar does with negative space, so we borrowed that idea from him.

The Finished Logo
After passing it back and forth with Nolan, we ended up with this logo.
I put in the vents in the gables and added the white box that defined garage door and added the text to fill in blank on the side of the building.
I liked how the shapes of the open door and window turned out, especially the negative space on the roof of the gables. In the end, Nolan rounded out the corners.
I’m a writer living in Los Angeles, making emojis of faces I find on Instagram. When I get a moment, I paint portraits on canvases I build from reclaimed wood.
