A companion piece to the Brawn painting, this portrait depicts a young man burdened with thoughts. His synapses fire in endless succession, stitching together numbers, hunches, fears and hopes. His mind is a complex loop, struggling to find a balance to the equation where everything just fits.
I’m a writer living in Los Angeles, making emojis of faces I find on Instagram. When I get a moment, I paint portraits on canvases I build from reclaimed wood.
