I seem to have an affinity for comedians, because Day is the 4th stand-up comic I’ve illustrated. I needed an playful expression that I could turn into a logo, so he went to a brightly lit laundromat and sent me a bunch of selfies. Of course, I chose the one that was the most silly.
I’m a writer living in Los Angeles, making emojis of faces I find on Instagram. When I get a moment, I paint portraits on canvases I build from reclaimed wood.
