Revisiting the painting.
I have been staring at Joe’s paintings for months. It sits above the desk I was working on. I was browsing through the photos of his tattoos and I think I figured out what was missing.
I’m a writer living in Los Angeles, making emojis of faces I find on Instagram. When I get a moment, I paint portraits on canvases I build from reclaimed wood.
