Oh how you have grown.
I’ve had this rubber band ball I’ve grown over 25 years. I would spot rubber bands on the street and pick them up, saved the ones that had a previous life binding together stalks of produce, discreetly pocketed ones from my desk at work.
Little known fact, rubber bands have a shelf life, thus leaving the ball on my hallway shelf has taken a toll on the ball’s shape. Thought it was time for a new layer.
Here’s what I’ve learned from making a rubber band ball. No matter what happens in the layers below, if you keep adding new bands, it will turn back into a sphere, because that’s what it wants to be.
