This is my favorite painting.
I don’t remember how I got to this painting, but it’s everything I need to put into all my art.
SPEEDBALL 2014
Oil and acrylic on wood | 36″ x 18″
A portrait of two reckless men, who are likely to swap fluids, partners, drinks and needles. Men who live with no consequence, no tomorrows, and yesterdays quickly forgotten. A cocktail of chaotic moments, blurred into one speedball of excess.
I’m a writer living in Los Angeles, making emojis of faces I find on Instagram. When I get a moment, I paint portraits on canvases I build from reclaimed wood.
