I sold a painting.
I lent my paintings to decorate a common area in a new media company. When I went to retrieve them, the office manager liked looking at one of them enough to buy it. Sort of a boost when people like what you do.

J.C. Leyendecker created these paintings in the twenties, where the edges of the image disappeared. He know what not to draw, making the things he actually drew somewhat more important. This chaotic portrait represents a man who never took no for an answer, and seldom asked any questions.
I’m a writer living in Los Angeles, making emojis of faces I find on Instagram. When I get a moment, I paint portraits on canvases I build from reclaimed wood.
