Chris is built like a machine, designed to move about the world with intent and attitude. In this portrait, I fused his truculent stare with an image of a vintage motorcycle, a sleek metal machine representing masculine rebellion.
I’m a writer living in Los Angeles, making emojis of faces I find on Instagram. When I get a moment, I paint portraits on canvases I build from reclaimed wood.
