I Will Paint You | Plan B | Portraits Redux
The paint has dried on the portrait of Robert, so it’s on display for anyone strolling on the path around Silver Lake.

Vegas is larger than life, noisy with slot machine bells and bright blinking bulbs. Robert performs on a Vegas stage, enchanting the audience with his expressive eyes and gigantic smile. I wanted this portrait to be one big neon sign pointing towards Happy.
I’m a writer living in Los Angeles, making emojis of faces I find on Instagram. When I get a moment, I paint portraits on canvases I build from reclaimed wood.
