I found this photo of a Williamsburg hipster and made a sketch. I didn’t know where I was going with this painting series so I had to start somewhere. I was strangely fascinated by deer tattoos. I didn’t know it was a thing until I google it.
I’m a writer living in Los Angeles, making emojis of faces I find on Instagram. When I get a moment, I paint portraits on canvases I build from reclaimed wood.
